The official website of the Janjgir-Champa District of Chhattisgarh was launched on 1st November 2002 ( Chhattisgarh Foundation Day) by the Hon'ble Collector & District magistrate of Janjgir-Champa Shri Manoj Kumar Pingua at a special function. Janjgir-Champa District was amongst the first few newely formed districts of Chhattisgarh to have taken initiative to launch their website. The site has been designed and developed by the NIC-Janjgir-Champa District Centre and presents comprehensive information about the Profile, Statistics, History, Tourist Places, Communication, Administration, Census 2001 abstract, Various government departments etc.
